• Recognition of the Problem:

Healers need something different out of their work environments; they put a lot of themselves into their work, which is what makes it so healing and also so potentially draining. The healing industry can be exploitative, just like any field under capitalism.

Healing careers have a high turnover and there is a lack of sustainable, healthy, helping careers. Navigating burnout, existential crisis, complex grief, and other problems of living can be overwhelming for healers.

  • The Proposed Solution:

Healer’s Choice is a professional collective of healers and entrepreneurs that help each other provide a work environment needed to thrive as well as the tools and the emotional support to create businesses that sustain us.

We’re making education accessible, and offering a community of individuals doing similar work which helps to de-stigmatize financial wellness of helpers.

  • An Organization with Wellness in Mind

We want to bring back joy in trying something new, and gamify the experience. We’ve developed an intentional entry and exit strategy for a healthy system, and we’re keeping the community small at 50 members.

  • Transparency

Healer’s Choice does not take a ‘fee split’ from any sessions. We make money from member dues and services and a split from storefront purchases. Our goal is to increase the level of transparency that goes in to making decisions and working with other professionals to provide a new appreciation of all the support necessary to be successful.

  • 2025 Q2 Social Event

    April 6th 2-5pm

This sh** is for the birds:

Feeling hopeless with the current state of the world? Leave your worries behind and come connect with nature and our community.

Join us for lots of food, fun, games and crafts as we prepare for a new season in the community garden. We’ll be reusing old tubes of toilet paper and paper towel to create bird feeding tree ornaments for you to take home, as well as voting on the herbs, fruits and vegetables we’ll be growing this season.

This event is free for HC members and is $8 for non-members. Make sure to RSVP by March 25th so that we make sure we have plenty of food and supplies for everyone. Hope to see you there!

  • Thursday Coworking Hour

A digital co-working hour where you can join others and dedicate time to get specific tasks done, without feeling alone. Held at 12pm every other week. Contact Cal for the video conference link.

  • Thursday Healer's Huddle - Members only

Healer’s Huddle is open ground for members to bring whatever they need help with in regard to their business. This could be anything from general business questions, to consultation around a particular case/participant you’re doing healing work with, or maybe you just need to vent about work with other people who get it. Healer’s Huddle is not a substitute for supervision that may be required for your field or licensure.
